How to Get Free Fast Food Deals

If you’re having a hard time covering your bases on food then I can give you some useful tips. Not everyone has the option of cooking a healthy, delicious meal at home. Sometimes we need to get something made for us at the local shop or drive through. It’s not a matter of eating the most healthy way possible, but just getting something good and hot to eat instead of having nothing at all. As greasy and fattening as some burgers can be, I’d choose a nice juicy cheeseburger over a huge wad of nothing. There are some good ways to get fast food for cheap or even free.

Internet Specials & Coupons

Fast food chain restaurants are flooding the net with deals and coupons. With all of the competition out there these days they have to reach potential customers any way possible. The problem here is that legit offers may seem like useless spam. However, the fact is you can get cheap or free food items by taking advantage of these offers. If you have a particular store in mind then simply search for them along with the type of offer you’re looking for. If you just want cheap or free food in general then you won’t have to look very far. The key here is that they will want something in return. This is usually something like an email and a zip code, but that’s easy enough to give. Typically you don’t have to worry about getting hit with tons of spam from these submissions. Normally they will just send you additional deals and specials periodically. This actually turns out to be a good thing if you’re eating on a tight budget. It’s even more important if you can’t shop for ingredients and cook your own meals. Eating out costs more so we have to be careful.

In most cases you can either print out a small coupon or you will be given a code to use when ordering food. I’ve done this many times and it’s very, very easy. It’s not complicated whatsoever. Don’t feel embarrassed or anything like that. If you need to eat then you gotta eat. It’s that simple. Also, some companies like to send you those offers in the mail. This is actually the easiest thing because then you have special deals coming to you on autopilot. There’s no effort involved and you don’t have to keep looking. For example, each week I receive meal deals and coupons in the mail. I don’t have to keep filling out any forms or doing anything special. I just had to sign up with my favorite fast food shop and everything is automatic. Pretty darn easy and cheap food.

Time Limited Local Events

You’d be amazed at how many events occur in your area that you were never aware of before looking. All sorts of groups, both charities and businesses, sponsor events for a million different reasons. Local shops and food stores will always have a presence at these events. They usually partner with the organizers to help sponsor and in return get to increase their customer base for later on. This is where local managers use exclusive deals and specials that you can’t even find online or in normal sales paper. Since non-national chains do this very often you can get the best and cheap fast food all rolled into one. Usually those local chains have great food because it isn’t so uniform and manufactured like the bigger companies.

What you need to do is locate the event calendar for your community. If you live near a highly populated place then there will probably be events multiple times a week. This means that you can get 3-5 cheap or free meals each week. Big, big deal there. You might even be able to carry some home with you for later. The local events calendar is usually found in the local newspapers (not sales papers or magazines). If your paper has an online version the you could probably look it up there. Also, event organizers often have a schedule they will list on their business website. You just need to learn the group or organization that deals with these events for your particular area.

One key thing to keep in mind with this is that any vouchers or coupons that are handed out during local events usually have a very small window of time for permitted use. You may only be able to use them for that day or that particular week. This is slightly different from ads you may see in a newspaper or inside of a mail circular. Don’t wait around to use these.
